Great Trails Council (Ohio) Chartered by Leroy United Methodist Church Our Pack is active and focused on fun while building character and core values. We participate in many community services. Our activities include Cub Family Camping, a Pinewood Derby , a Blue and Gold Dinner, an annual major outing and many more. Support Our Pack Upcoming Events 27 September 2008 - Rain Gutter Regatta (Hubbard Valley Park) Itinerary 1:00 Welcome 1:15 Constructing your Regatta: We will be providing every Scout with their own Regatta. Scouts will break up in their Dens to build their Regatta. Each Scout will have ~45 minutes to build with Parent / Den Leader Supervision. 2:00 Rain Gutter Regatta will begin. 4:00 Pack Meeting: Den Awards Review Upcoming Events Committees – we are asking that a parent sign up for each up-coming event Discuss Popcorn Sales! Event: Orrville Railroad Heritage Society – Jumpin’ Pumpkin Jamboree Cost: Scouts - Free * Siblings 12 & Under - $1.00, Adults $2.00 (for train ride). Activities: Train ride, pumpkin decorating, games, pictures and more! Itinerary 10:00 Meet at Church for pack meeting 11:15 Leave for Orrville 11:45 Arrive in Orrville 12:00 Ride train together as pack, afterwards families can explore on your own! 5:00? Depart when you are done having fun!!...

Purposes of Cub Scouting To positively influence character development and encourage spiritual growth. To help boys develop habits and attitudes of good citizenship. To encourage good sportsmanship and pride in growing strong in mind and body. To improve understanding within the family. To strengthen the boys' abilities to get along with other boys and to respect other people. To foster a sense of personal achievement by helping boys develop new interests and skills. To show boys how to be helpful and do one's best. To provide fun and exciting new things to do. To prepare to become Boy Scouts.
